An Overview
The project’s work plan was structured into four comprehensive work packages, each designed to ensure the seamless implementation and success of the initiative.
The first work package focused on internal management and coordination of the partnership, as well as maintaining effective communication with stakeholders. Within this framework, critical internal and sensitive documents were developed to support the project’s operations.
To ensure smooth project implementation and foster collaboration among partners, three key meetings were organized:
- Kick-Off Meeting: This initial meeting brought all partners together for the first time in Greece. Hosted by the project coordinator, iAgroCert, the event set the foundation for collaboration, aligning partners on project goals and strategies.
- Interim Meeting: Hosted by the Egyptian partner, Jovesolides, in Cairo, this meeting focused on assessing the project’s progress, identifying improvements, and strategizing the next steps. It was a very important point for ensuring alignment and addressing any challenges.
- Final Meeting: Held in Thessaloniki, Greece, and hosted by Fifty-Fifty, this meeting served as the culmination of the project. Partners conducted a comprehensive review, reflecting on achievements, lessons learned, and the overall impact of the initiative.
Building upon the research conducted in the second work package, the partnership developed the “Best Practics & Methodology Guide” for Agricultural Entrepreneurship for Disabled Young People under the ARABLE project[CLICK here for the Guide]. This comprehensive resource serves multiple purposes, functioning as both a tool for youth workers and a practical guide for disabled individuals aspiring to establish careers in agricultural entrepreneurship.
The guide provides detailed insights, practical strategies, and a structured approach to empower disabled youth in rural areas. It equips them with the necessary skills and knowledge to thrive as entrepreneurs, bridging gaps in opportunity and access. While primarily tailored for disabled youth, the guide is also an invaluable resource for any young person interested in exploring agricultural entrepreneurship, offering guidance applicable to a broader audience.
The guide is thoughtfully organized into ten modules, each addressing key elements of the entrepreneurial journey:
